Managed device scope

Secure Lock supports external organizations that manage company-owned or dedicated Android devices assigned to employees or operational roles.

Company Devices is the Android app installed on those assigned devices. It receives organization policies and authorized device-security commands from the Secure Lock management service.

The organization is responsible for giving assigned users clear notice of management capabilities and obtaining any authorization required by applicable law before enrollment.

Information we process

• Organization and administrator account details, including name, business role, email address, and phone number.
• Employee assignment details supplied by the organization, device identifiers, asset context, enrollment state, policy state, and device status.
• Security-event, audit, support, browser, operating-system, diagnostic, and service log data needed to operate and protect the platform.
• Optional on-demand location snapshots or contact-backup data when an authorized administrator uses those supported controls for an approved business or security reason.

How information is used

• Enroll and administer organization-managed devices.
• Apply device and application policies selected by authorized administrators.
• Record accountable security and lifecycle actions.
• Provide support, investigate incidents, maintain service reliability, and meet legal obligations.

Location and contact controls

Precise location and contact-backup features are not continuous public tracking services. They are available only to authorized organizational accounts for supported operational or security purposes.

When an authorized organization administrator requests a location check, Company Devices may collect and send precise device location to the management service even when the app is closed or not in use. It reads and sends device contacts only for an authorized contact-backup request.

Precise location snapshots are encrypted and retained for no more than seven days. Contact-backup data is encrypted and retained for no more than thirty days. Earlier cleanup applies when the managed device is unregistered or the applicable record is deleted.

Sharing and safeguards

Information is shared only with controlled infrastructure providers, support providers, or lawful authorities when required to operate the service or comply with law. Access is limited to the purpose for which the information is provided.

Secure Lock applies technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, protected storage, and security audit records. No service can promise absolute security, so organizations must also protect administrator credentials and devices.

Retention, requests, and contact

Other account, assignment, device, and audit information is retained only for service operation, security, organizational instructions, or legal obligations. Authorized organizations and assigned users may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
